BOOKS
Michael has written four books, one of them with Lance Q. Zedric, a fellow military history author. He has contributed to two anthologies. Three of his books deal with special purpose, special mission units regardless of their country or their time in history. In addition to these books he has written many articles and book reviews dealing with the same subject matter for various publications. Elite Warriors and Great Raids in History were both selections of the Military Book Club. His most recent book, Behind The Lines - A Critical Survey of Special Operations in World War II, was
published in late September 2013 by Casemate Publishers, both in the U.S. and the UK. The fourth book, Interrogation Approaches (editions 2004 through 2008) was written for an employer to be used in a course of instruction. Michael is the unattributed author of this book, which is not available to the public at large. Michael is currently working to expand to book length an article he has recently had published. Its working title is Out of the Blue - American Airborne Units in World War II.
